Bowl for Kids' Sake raises over $62,000 in 2013!

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Lafayette is proud to announce the organization and our fundraisers brought in over $62,000 through Bowl for Kids’ Sake this year. We had around 275 bowlers this year that helped us raise money and came to celebrate during the weekend of February 23 and 24.

This year's BFKS theme was “Treasure Island” and it was really carried throughout all of the participants. Most bowlers showed up in their best pirate costumes or Caribbean gear. There was even a baby sporting an eye patch, pirate earring and mustache! One team showed their spirit by shaking maracas for good frames.

Bowlers were awarded for best dressed and most team spirit. All of the bowlers were in high spirits, having fun, shaking their “bootys”, and laughing all throughout the weekend.  Overall, it was a great weekend for BBBS of Greater Lafayette. Thank you to all of the participants and we hope to see you all again next year!
