Our Programs

So many ways to get started

Our programs get things startedWe offer three core types of donor-funded programs: Community-Based, School-Based and Faith-Based Mentoring. And no matter when a child enters a program, there’s no limit to where he or she can go.

Choose a Program that fits YOU!

"Bigs" and "Littles" are the heart of our programs.

Our matches enjoy sharing simple, everyday activities with each other: playing a game, attending a ball game, arts and crafts, watching a movie or just hanging out together. What matters to the youth is not the activity, but that they have a caring adult who is interested in their life. Because they have someone to confide in and look up to, they do better in school and at home.

Our mentoring programs are characterized by:
  • One-to-one friendship between a caring, adult volunteer and a child.
  • Thorough, careful assessment and screening of volunteers, with child safety as our top priority.'
  • Thoughtful matching of volunteers and children, based on shared interests and personalities.
  • Focused and tracked outcomes that measure match impact.

Program Options:
Every volunteer has the opportunity to select a program that fits his or her schedule and personal preferences. Each program has proven results! We serve the children of Tippecanoe County with two mentoring program options:
